Linda K. Paden

LINDA K. PADEN, 65, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 8, 2012 at her home.

Born on January 19, 1947 in Frankfort, Kansas, she was the daughter of Daniel Jackson and Helen Kathryn (Fairchild) Paden. She was raised in Frankfort and later Junction City where she graduated from Junction City High School in 1965.

She was united in marriage to Ronald L. Lawson on February 10, 1968 in Derby, Kansas. The couple lived in Wichita and Winfield. Linda was a massage therapist for Gary Young Essential Oils Company, specializing in Raindrop Therapy. Ronald preceded her in death on July 3, 2006.

She was a member of the Fuller House of Prayer in Winfield and volunteered at the Womens Crisis Center. Linda was certified at the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education in Raindrop I and II and Young Living Distributor Training. She had obtained a first and second degree in REEKI method of natural healing. Linda also enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, crafts and home decorating.

Her family includes: Her daughters: Lori Lawson Malone of Tampa, FL; Rashael Lawson of Winfield, KS; and Sara Lawson of Winfield, KS; Her grandchildren: Joseph Malone, Jacob Malone, Jesse Malone, Jackson Malone, River Rain Paden-Lawson, Braden Zimmerman, Sadie Pennington and Ronnie Pacha. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Malone.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. The family will greet friends during that time.

The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 5:00 P.M., at the Crossroads Church, 9444 202nd Rd., Winfield. A eulogy will be read by Pastor Harold Gross.

A memorial has been established to help with funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
